A Higher Power for YOU

Good Sunday evening from Nashville. Life is indeed an escapade, and we are in it together.
This email broadcast is about making you The Man in all realms of your life - confidence, success on the job and financially, success in relationships, and success in the bedroom, as well.
The best is indeed yet to come.
In the meantime, how shall we speed our journey to our ultimate destination?
Yes: This is a Christian publication. No: I am not trying to pin my religious beliefs on you.
Yes: This is a fun brand to be a part of. No: You don't have to be a part of it.
But Yes, you probably will want to continue on it. So give it the chance that it deserves.
I am reminded of the power of a Higher Power in recent days here in my home of Nashville: Storms dumping large amounts of rain on us. Tornado, storm, and flood watches and warnings piling on by the hour. Quick prayers to keep me and all others safe.
The rain appears to be almost over for now. But we realize and respect the power that comes behind it.
In my law practice in juvenile court here in Nashville, the proverbial storms happen.
In this past week, I had a heavy burden on my heart about a case scheduled to move forward on Friday afternoon at 1:00. It is a client who has my professional heart as a mother - in a tough situation to try to get her kids back in the child welfare system.
A client who has worked extremely hard and who was extremely vested in the result.
As we moved into Wednesday and as Friday fast approached, I fell to my knees, asking God above to provide the wisdom and insight I needed to help this young mother.
I prayed to God at my bedside that he would give me what I needed to assist her.
On Friday afternoon, God answered my prayer. The proverbial wolves surrounded me, as opposing counsel chirped in the minutes prior to the hearing. The odds were against us, and success was a long shot. But I kept my poise and prepared for the hearing and my closing argument.
Long story short: This hearing went well. The final result is not known, but the direction of the case has shifted in a positive manner.
As men, let us shift our respective lives in a positive manner as this new week commences.
