Where to go to meet women

One topic you'll read about often if you continue to follow Cloud Nine Higher is the pickup and attraction of women by men - mostly through cold approach at bars at nighttime.
This is a topic I have spent a considerable amount of time studying. In recent years, I have purchased and listened to/read programs from great (and not so great LOL) dating coaches.
I am, slowly but surely, starting to practice my approach skills in the bars of downtown Nashville.
I will pass on what I am learning and look forward to hearing from you, too.
In case you're married or attached, not to worry. I'll discuss other cool phases of life and topics you'll love.
The pickup and attraction emails can apply to you even if you already found the love of your life. The specifics are different, but the principles are the same, regardless of your status. If you're female, you may choose to read this for kicks or you may jump elsewhere. I respect your decision but am quick to add that I publish material that applies to both genders.
Today's topic is finding the right venue to approach women in. Ironically, this year of 2025 has been slower than usual for the honky tonk bars and other awesome watering holes in my home town.
Nashville was designated as an "IT" city many years ago in the national media. We continue to be on a roll as a destination city and a place where locals can find a great time most all of the time.
Winter is normally not an ideal time to meet ladies after hours, especially on weeknights. But the professional sports teams in our town haven't inspired folks to come out and be seen in the past year.
The Titans of the National Football League had an awful year, and the Predators of the National Hockey League were bad, too. This has, sadly, cut down the number of eligible ladies who are out and on the prowl in downtown Nashville.
In any event and especially if you're in or near a big city, you must find the right place to meet women. Some bars are ideal. Others - not so much.
Here are a few considerations:
1. The price of drinks at said bar. If the place charges a fair price for beer, wine, and spirits, it's better for you. Not because I recommend buying drinks for women, but because you'll be spending a lot of time in the venue approaching women. Expensive drink prices mean that you head elsewhere.
2. Dance floors or other open space to socialize. If the place is also a restaurant and is full of tables with a small bar, it likely is not an ideal place for you to approach women. You need the ability to mingle. If the venue is like many honky tonks in Nashville, there is a stage, dance floor, and bar that people will gravitate toward to buy drinks and then to buy refills. This sort of atmosphere provides you the opportunity to hang at a spot at the bar where various women will be throughout the evening. Find a spot like this and prosper.
3. Music that is loud enough to enjoy but not so loud that you can't hear yourself think. This factor will vary from venue to venue. It depends on the size of the room and how much space there is between the stage and the bar. If the music is too loud, you're going to have a difficult time talking to ladies or to anyone else.
4. The sort of crowd that fits your style and culture. For instance, if you don't like country music, you can still come to Nashville. You just won't be at the honky tonks. There are other bars with other types of music or a mix of genres of music from night to night. Some bars may be "neighborhood bars" with billiard tables, dart boards, and a juke box. We don't have many said "neighborhood bars" in downtown Nashville at the moment, but I highly recommend them in case you have them in your town.
As stated in a prior email broadcast, systems are important. Systems for your pickup and attraction game are just as important as those you use for your work, family, and personal business.
Getting there is half the fun. Gentlemen: Let's enjoy sharpening our systems and have dates galore in the months to come.
More to come soon.
