Worrying is not good

Worrying is not good

If you're a Christian, perhaps this message will resonate with you. If you're not a Christian, perhaps it will resonate with you, too.

It's about a topic that I struggle mightily with: Worry. If there is one sin that I am most guilty of these days, it's worry.

While I broadcast from an awesome "IT" city and the downtown area of said city (Nashville), I still struggle with worry.

What about my pay this week? What about the court dates I have coming up? What about my lease at my current (sexy) apartment in downtown Nashville? What about my ability to fall asleep tonight and to pay my bills moving forward?

What about the hot water heater and HVAC unit in my apartment? I live in an awesome community, but they could fail at any time.

In recent experience, God has shown me that there is no need to worry.

In the course of time, I hope that I can show you that there is no need to worry.

I could quote many Bible verses at this point, but I will stick with one:

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

This verse says it all in the best way. There are other God-inspired verses that I will discuss in future email broadcasts. For Tuesday night, April 15, 2025, this is all you need to concern yourself with.

When life hands you a curveball, trust in the one who can help you handle it. In the course of time, you'll see the ball sail into the stands as you circle the bases.

I remind myself of this on a daily basis, and I am happy to remind you of it now.

More to come soon.
